Tanzania Cardiac Society is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular diseases in Tanzania. It was established in 1993 by a group of cardiologists who recognized the need to address the rising burden of heart disease in the country. The society focuses on promoting education, research, and advocacy in the field of cardiology, as well as providing support for the training of healthcare professionals in the management of heart disease.
